Server wont appear online...
#1
Okay I've followed all the instructions its all right.

I've opened up the ports needed I'm pretty sure, the server connects and everything.
I can join it by my 192.168.1.4 address or by viewing the LAN tab but no one else can join it and it also doesn't show up online in HLSW, only as a LAN.

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME.... I've seen many people with the same problem on these forums but they never post the solution..

The only thing i can see wrong is 2 errors on the dedicated server and that includes dynamic weapon prices and some other thing but I'm sure there minor things that wont affect the server majorly.

The attached files may help you :O

1. On your portforward screen, don't you need to enable them in the right site(the checkbox)?

2. Any firewall? If so, allow SRCDS to bypass.

The check box is just to delete them, and well i have NOD32 but i disabled the firewall. The only other thing i can think of doing is uninstalling the anti-virus but im pretty sure when i disable the firewall it allows everything to pass through.

Whenever next time you try, shutdown your firewall and antivirus. And then quickly try.

Error: I could not see your service on 203.206.40.59 on port (27015)
Reason: Connection refused

I guess it doesnt work on that but it says its open when i do it on PortChecker, from portforward.com

Give us a full screen shot of your port forwarding, not a cut off version. Can you set UDP to ALL?

Please do not PM me for server related help
fqdn Wrote:if you've seen the any of the matrix movies, a game server is not all that different. it runs a version of the game that handles the entire world for each client connected. that's the 2 sentence explanation.

Well, the problem might be that you forwarded ports 2700-27015, it might be too wide of a range for your router to handle ( You don't know it might happen) try forwarding ports 27000-27020 udp and tcp, also make sure that the other ones are deleted.

Isn't that even bigger?
