SRCDS - Two servers on one Computer
#1
Okay, Ill just tell you this as easy as possible:

I got one server on port: 27015
(its working perfectly, no problems)

But I want another server on another port, I have already opened these ports for the other server:

27000 - 27030 (Both TCP/UDP)

I have made a new SRCDS folder (called SRCDS2) that is a basic server without any mods or anything. But I want this Online and Im not so sure about the targetline. My main servers targetline looks like this:

C:\SRCDS\srcds.exe -console -game cstrike +map surf_greatriver2 -port 27015 -maxplayers 16 -autoupdate -tickrate 33

So I guess the targetline to "SRCDS2" should be the same, but with antother "-port"

Can anyone give me the correct targetline for my new server?
As said above somewhere, Ive opened these ports for the new server:

27000 - 27030 (Both TCP/UDP)

----------

If anyone can fix this for me on TeamViewer, that would have been great! Smile I just want to get it Online, I will install the mods myself I think.

Need help, and I know you guys are the best! Big Grin

Port 27025 for other server. Add the (local) ip to the startup-line (so you can use rcon).
So:

C:\path\to\srcds.exe -console -game cstrike +map surf_greatriver2 -port 27025 -maxplayers 16 -tickrate 33 +ip <local one>

Q: Why do I get the error "Couldn't allocate dedicated server UDP port"?
A: 2 things may cause this
1) you're trying to use a port number that's already in use. If you are trying to host a server on port 27015, chances are it is already being used by another application, or another server thread. Check your system's processes to make sure there's nothing else using that port. try specifying a different with the -port ##### command line entry.
2) you've tried to bind the game server's ip address to your internet or WAN ip address with +ip. This does not work since the computer cannot bind to an ip address it doesn't own. It is the router's job to convert the internet ip address into a LAN ip address. Simply remove the +ip ###.###.###.### command line entry

Aha, I guess I know now, its the first "2)" Big Grin

The server looks like its working fine now, but it does not work.

The traget line is now without the IP but with the -port 27025

Its not online yet, but I think we are getting closer Wink

Have you unblocked the secondary server in your firewall?

Well, my computer just dont want to put a screenshot here, so Ill just explain:

Yes, Ive opened the port in my firewall:

srcds port2
port: 27025
type: UDP

And in my router, I have portforwarded this for my second server:

Name4 Y 27000-27030 192.168.2.10 27000-27030 both
