Cant connect to any servers while srcds is running

ok so i have had my srcds up for the last couple day playing and running on the same computer then today out of the blue i can no longer join any servers or the srcds that i have running anymore so if i want to play i have to shutdown the srcds. any info on how to get back to where i can run the server and play at the same time would be greatly helpful

on startup of your css type in -clientport 27025

no, not your server, on your game startup, like in steam, right click css, properties, then set launch options, add +clientport 27025 (not the -, was a typo in my post)
