crash on startup

[CHC]

this is a fresh install of srcds without any modifications or anything, infact I havn't even gotten the server to start because of this, it has happend on 2 pcs, one 32 bit running ubuntu server, and another 64 bit running debian, this is the output of the debian one

if you would have read my post more clearly i say that i have no modifications or addons and its a clean install, i havn't even gotten the server to run ever, and

its 256 mb ram(and 512 on the other pc but its the same problem so it shouldn't matter) i'm aware that thats a very low amount of ram but i am not actually using this server for use, but to just make some code changes to hosties mod to improve it, and its only a test server for that

the soultion you gave me didn't work, and also this link isn't related to srcds its just the same error from glibc

the same example can be shown here

but that doesn't mean its a bug in glibc its just because the pointer isn't even assigned

edit: i misunderstood you but got it to work by adding "export MALLOC_CHECK=0" to the top of my srcds_run

Sorry, I read wrong, did you try *Upgrading* glibc? http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?referrerid=240230&threadid=476775

Seems like both of them have maxplayers less than 10, try +maxplayers 12
