What ports i have to open ?

Hello im french but i speak english a little bit. I have created a dedicated server for counter strike source and install metties , mani admin plugin , metamod etc BUT i dont know the port i have to open in my box ( alicebox, it's french but maybe you know) for my friend can join me on my server, so what ports ?

Go on your dedicated machine, and type in command prompt:

ipconfig /all

Then do:

tracert google.com

and give us those output commands... Dont worry about IP's and crap... If we truly wanted that information, we can get it...

when i go to http://www.canyouseeme.org/ and i check my 27015 port, it say this :

2 Questions:
IS the computer you are on hosting the server and playing the game?
What IP are you using?

If your hosting the server on the same computer you are playing the game on, try to connect to ip 127.0.0.1:27015 when the server is running.

IF you are running the server on a separate machine on the same network, connect to ip 192.168.1.2:27015

If are you are unsure... Try both IP's

Come back if this doesn't solve the problem.

i play and host the server in the same computer (i have 4gb ram , 2,5GHZ procesor etc ) . when i use 127.0.0.1:27015 its work .

Okay great!
Because you are running the server on your local machine, YOU have to always use the IP 127.0.0.1:27015 to play on it, but all your friends who are outside your network have to use your external IP...

To make it 100 tickrate, your going to have to launch srcds manually
I think this might work >_>

SO browse your computer to your steam folder:
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\*YOURNAMEHERE*\source dedicated server

Then right click srcds.exe
create a shortcut.
Right click your shortcut, and edit the target...
Make it read
"fire/path/to/srcds" -srcds.exe -console -tickrate 100 -game cstrike +map de_dust +maxplayers 16

Crap, I forgot... The above will not work... That version of dedicated server requires it to be executed from steam...

Okay well.
Install srcds from scratch from the tutorial on the main page:
http://www.srcds.com/db/engine.php?subaction=showfull&id=1097362093

And run the dedicated server via console following the directions provided in the link above.
Then apply, and doubleclick your shortcut.
And then turn on windows media player and join your server, you should be running at 100 tickrate.
