hey guys me again. when more than 3 players join my server they start lagging like hell randomly.
my internet speed is 1.2mbps , i got 1gb of ram , my server got 10 slots and my rate settings :
// Rate Settings
sv_minrate 5000
sv_maxrate 12000
sv_minupdaterate 20
sv_maxupdaterate 60
sv_unlag 1
sv_maxunlag 1
and fps_max 300
i dont know how to reduce lag

What game? What tickrate? Is that your upload or download speed? What's the computers specs?

probably the upload speed will be much smaller then your download speed, right? probably it cannot handle more then 3 players... buy a dedicated server with a good connection, that's the only way ;-)

ahhh thats sad... when i get a better connection hopefully it gets fixd =)

home connections are never good for game servers... at least ping times will always be much worse than for connections in a data center, even if the bandwidth is sufficient.
