mani admin admin problem [RESOLVED]

hi everyone i added myself as admin and i even did the bind "." admin as well i do get the admin option like client admin and other but i dont get the admin pop ups like kick player , slay,slap. any help would be appreciated thanx XD

Did you fill the clients.txt like you should? What version do you use? Maybe you want to take a look at SourceMod ...

I highly recommend NOT using Mani. Use Sourcemod instead

thanx for the fast response , i did download source mode and set it up but it doesn't work somehow =( by the way am using the console to add myself as admin am not sure what version of mani admin am using but i know its not old cause mostly everything works fine only the admin system , the popup menu that allows admins to kick,votte and other..... wont show up

What he meant was do you use the version of SRCDS from http://www.srcds.com, or do you use the tool in your Steam Games called "Source Dedicated Server".

And SourceMod didn't work? You haven't installed it correctly then. Did you load it with MetaMod?

Mani is not really in development anymore therefore has not kept up with the last 5-6 steam updates and more importantly with the last couple of SRCDS updates. This is why people are saying not to use it.

People here will try to help you with sourcemod, but they have dedicated forums as well over at http://forums.alliedmods.net/forumdisplay.php?f=52

You may want to completely remove mani, and then make sure you install BOTH Metamod: Source and Sourcemod.

Metamod: Source is the engine that loads sourcemod. You'll know if it's done if you can type "meta" in your server console and get a response.

Correctly. However, now that Mani released the Sourcecode, I think it will be personally developed by programmers, so I think will see some new versions of it within a month.

yes i did install source mod and it didn't work when i type "meta list" it just doesn't work its like metamode is not working or something ,but all the other things in the adon folder works e.g eventscripts and other.....


and now yes it did work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i just used http://forums.srcds.com/viewtopic/6595 to fix it thanx for ur help guys =))
