Can't find my server on the server list, PLEASE HELP
#1
I'm trying to use source dedicated server with mani mod installed

I can't find the server in the server list

if i goto favorites and add my server
i can see it in my favorites and click on it and play on my own server

but when my friends try to add the server
they can't find it

whats the problem why doesn't it work anymore

i tried sv_lan 0

and i also tried going into my network ports and adding almost all ports
(which literally took hours)

now im lost i dont know what to do
the mani admin mod works fine and i dont think that is the problem

i think it has something to do with my router but i don't know what
i recently got verizon fios
its a Actiontec MI424WR

please help

Don't set the network address with a port. Wink

Also can you do a range from 27000 to 27040?

here is what i did try
i made that ip a dmz host

after that i was sure it was gunna work
i restared everything the router and computer
and again i coulndt find my dam server

when i hit lan i see it their
when i goto favorites and hit add, i can add it
when i goto cs:s i can enter my server from favs and play in it

BUT I CANT SEE IT IN MY SERVER LIST
nor can my friends join it when they type my server
192.168.1.2:27015
in their favorites

this used to work on my linksys on optimum
but ever since i got verizon fios, its not working

You have to give your friends your "public IP", http://www.whatismyip.com/

im just tryna solve the main problem
which is why isnt my server showing up in the server list

and also, i would just give my friends 192.168.1.2:27015
and they would be able to connect
without giving my public ip

so if i solve the main problem, then i think the "friend" problem should be solved with it

i have a lot of bandwith and im just trying to make random ppl come
but they wont come if they cant see my in the server list

EDIT: ill give u my public ip, see if u can connect
98.116.64.33
port 27015

ok so after digging into the verizon action tec router
i came across counterstrike and half life server as a preset
so i enabled those 2
and disabled dmz host

this is whats been added to my port forwarding

i think port fowarding is good to go, cuz it says counter strike on the dam preset lol

im not going uninstall mani mod, source dedicated server, and cs:source, and also steam
then reinstall it
and see if it works

if it doesn't i will repost, if it works i will leave the thread be lol

Do you run with any firewalls?

i have verizon fios and i have to click on firewall to edit the port forwarding so im guessing i have firewall
the only way i can see to control the fire wall is this:

Your portforwarding isn't correct then.

Can you contact your ISP and make them do the portforwarding for you, to insure it's TOTALLY right?
