Are you running any admin plugins?

They will have a file in there usually, or require you to create yourself as an admin in console.

If you don't have the above installed/done, then in your server.cfg file there is a line:

Code:
rcon_password ""

Change it to something you want...

Code:
rcon_password "lawlasarusandfriends11111"
PLEASE! Search before you make a thread!

Post server.cfg information, and specific information on how you are running your server!

Ensure you add REP! if they solved your problem Smile

You also have to start the server with -ip <your ip> in the startup line.

He prob has his "view file extensions" as unticked.

This is used often for viruses (Example: loldrunk.JPG.exe)

The file will only show loldrunk.JPG making it look like an image, when infact the .exe extension is hidden by default.

To unhide this (recommended) do the following.

. Open any folder on your machine.
2. Choose "Tools" - "Folder Options".
3. Click the "View" tab.
4. Uncheck "Hide extensions for known types".
5. Click "OK" to close the dialog box.

You're running a local server? You've put "192.168.0.12" in the clients.txt.txt ...
Just put your steam_id in the clients.txt it's unique
