solved not starting

no matter what i use srcds will not start and run

Server OS: Specific version. ex: Windows Server 2003 64-bit, Ubuntu Server 32-bit "DNO"
Processor: Please list the model, number of physical cores per processor, and the clock speed "DNO" (in GHz). Also note if it is hyperthreaded (P4s).
Ram: In GB. Speed not required. DNO
Game(s): Which game you are running that is having issues. This is important! CSS
Start Up Command: cd C:\Documents and Settings\User\Desktop\Public_Installer\server
srcds.exe -game cstrike
TARGET "C:\Documents and Settings\User\Desktop\Public_Installer\fscommand\cstrike server.bat"
start in "C:\Documents and Settings\User\Desktop\Public_Installer\server\cstrike"

and the thing is it doesent have that other stuff cause it opens a handy dandy menu in witch wont open is there something else i need to install for normal srcds to work cause that wont do it either.

It's importan that you specify a map, otherwise the server can't launch.

no it pops up a menu 2 that says what map i want the hostname slots etc but its not the steam one

are you using the GUI version? because if so you should stop and use the console version.
