port forwarding 2 servers

i have 1 srcds up and running now im trying to get another one going on same cpu but cant get it on line if i use 27016 or 27018 it shows up in my lan but no one can join my other server runs on port 27015 ive tried many diff ports as high as 27025 but nothing only those first two will let it show in my lan do i need to port forward 2 time one for each server even if ip is the same and all i change is the port i have 27000 to 27020 udp and 27030 to 27039 tcp forwarded

DMZ is not recommended however for security reasons. It is recommended not to do this.

Unblocking ports is not recommended either, as that is a security risk as well, along with anyone running anykind of server.

I would rather DMZ a secure server then forward to an unsecured box.
I wouldn't DMZ on my LAN because then I can't forward different ports to other boxes

Paradoxes much? DMZ basically exposes a computer directly to the internet, which makes it highly insecure. Port forwarding ports that are used by applications like SRCDS or HLDS is hardly a security risk at all.

What would be a security risk is forwarding a port used by low level system services like netbios, time, etc.

If you want to forward ports on two different machines on the same network, just use different ports. Like if you had two HLDS servers, make one use 27015 and the other 27016

Don't do that. Go for port 27025 for the first server, 27025 for the second.

Troll much? You can't use the same port on two different machines behind a NAT router.

Probably a typo on his end... he means 27015 and 27025, space the ports out by at least 10 so the hltv and vac can have their own ports
