Try this:

cd /sbin/
ls
if ifconfig is in there, you can run it using: ./ifconfig

If you only have a wireless nic, try using: iwconfig

ok, then add +ip 192.168.1.5 to your startup command, not really hard to follow the readme. You might also want to reboot the server at least once a week.
