Server is not visible on the server list. Help

ok, i enabled it, and my friends cant find it on internet list. but they can connect to by IP.

I think Steam did something so no new servers would be able to seen in the Master List.

There has been several posts about this. Well I will go check Steam Forums and see if there's an answer.

but then again, i have to disable my firewall and then the server won't be on the list.
and i tried the DMZ, it didnt show on the master server list either.

i told you already, you can not open all the required ports becuase your router cant handle it. you MUST use dmz if you want this to work. also you should use a firewall, at least the built in windows one. all you have to do is set those ports to be allowed.

if your friends can connect then its working just set your location in your server.cfg to world (225 or -1 i think) and it should be seen on the list.

K, I got it.
When I start the server, it said this:

VAC secure mode is activated.

Does this means my server is on the master server list?

And when I type in "sv_region" the console said this

It said that def. -1
"-1: Do not list server (also occurs when you do not set a value!) "

Does that mean even though it said 255 (world), it's still saying -1?

i believe the dmz option is the only way to get it working, if you are on a network behind a router.

I havnt found any other solutions yet anyway

DMZ is not recommended and shouldn't be used as said before. The better solution would be to forward the ports on your router.

I forwarded these 2 ports already a long time ago, thats why my friends can join
