ok. ive been in and out of hosting companys. but im wanting to know if i can get a good 24 slot Public Cal server 100tick 600FPS.

i got a box in a datacenter. here are my specs.

Intel Core 2 Q6600 2.4Ghz (Single Processor, Quad Core)
8GB RAM
x2 250GB SATAII
1000Mbps
unmeetred Tier 1 Bandwidth
Windows Server 2008

now this box has been doing me good for about 3 months now. and i really want to test it by setting up a 100tick 600fps running 24 slots.

But when i set the server up and give it the rite cmd line stuff my server will only boot 512 fps. any ideas why it's doing this?

Like I said

I have only seen 250, 512, 1000, etc

No werid numbers like 600

If you paid for 600 you might of been getting scamed (same thing ass 100tic TF2)

But thats just me, I have NEVER EVER seen a 600fps server

Its not possible to hit 600 fps unless there is some limiting factor on the OS side I believe. I have seen 650 but only by setting fps_max 660-750.
*Windows lack of output*
You: Hey, I want to run this program!
Windows: Ok.. It crashed... Now what? Give up?
You:...wtf...
*linux output helpful?*
You: ./My_program
Linux:...Failed!...oo kitties!
You:...wtf...
