I want to set up a server and I started doing it this way:

Is that the way I should do it or can I just download Source Dedicated Server in the Tools section of Steam? and if so can you customize that one as much as the other way?

To start a CS:S Server do you need the /hl2 folder and all its files to do so?

Yes, Counter-Strike: Source is a mod of Half Life: 2

So it's crusal for getting Counter-Strike: Source to work roughly.
