I type yes after doing the command and it goes straight back to the normal codsl@box:~$ like this


blah blah Valve any myself.


Enter 'yes' to accept this agreement, 'no' to decline: yes
dsl@box:~$

Without uncompressed or even a message/confirmation.

Note: I'm using Damn Small Linux

It might just be that your distro can't run the file properly.
I personally use CentOS for all my work.

You might want to check that uncompress is actually installed.

I don't know much about "Dam Small Linux" so I am not sure what it can and can't handle.

But a suggestion is to go with a full server os.

Well the thing is, I'm trying to use old pc so i need a very simple os if i don't want lag :/
