SRCDS Steam group


The scrds GUI tool wont open.

When I right click srcds.exe and select open, nothing happens. How can I fix this?

You must run it with a command.

Where is your srcds.exe located on your PC?

go in to your cmd prompt in accessories and put this into it
Code:
C:\srcds\srcds.exe -console -game cstrike(or w/e game) +map de_dust -maxplayers 16

* i dont use windows much for hosting

thats not GUI though, thats just command prompt, also, what is the difference from using srcds, to using Source Dedicated server tool?

A huge different.

SRCDS tool gives you more ability to everthing.


Source Dedicated Server Tool is a bugged version and sucks hard.

Removing "-console" will make it the GUI.
