SRCDS Steam group


Engine Error

Whenever using the SRCDS Server and then going in to TF2 and making a server there, TF2 closes and gives me the error "Couldn't allocate any server IP port". What Does this mean?

that meens the IP u specifyed isn't advailible, dose ur box have multible IPs?

What do you mean "Box"

im assuming your running this out of your home and that you found your external ip and you put it into the startup line. just remove it and it will work, all you do with the external ip is give it to your friends. hope this help Toungue

Im using 192.168.0. those other 3 numbers.

well just remove it it will automaticly bind to an ip

Your saying do this in the Portforwarding right?

And if so then yes I did that and still gives me the pop-up.

no not the port fowarding.

in the main line for the server (srcds shot cut > prop)

do not put the -ip xx.xx.xx.x
delete it

but keep -port xxxx
