New CSS update - Crashes every 15 seconds
#1
Anyone notice the constant crashes with the server every 15 seconds since the new update?

I have no mods installed at all. Complete Raw install. Very strange.
Ok turns out theres somthing in my server.cfg thats making the server crash at the end of the round. I'm looking into this issue.

You have to use the srcds files that are located in the orangebox folder. If you keep on using the old depreciated ones your server will crash Wink

Well actualy you can get rid of the orangebox folder... but you have to copy over the HL folder. It will auto detect this change and work fine. If you need details let me know.

Why detroy the folder structure valve wants you to use? Changing it will lead only to trouble and is a bad idea....

I Am curious about this as well, doesn't seem like a good idea to change the directory structures but I am more curious to see that he isn't getting any errors. Srcds.exe requires certain files to be in certain locations in order to start up.

This is a reply to an old post. I managed to fix the problem ages ago but I can't remember how I did it.

I had to destroy the folder structure it becuase it destroyed my custom panel Toungue

Anyway, I've updated my panel and it uses it with the orange box folder now
