SRCDS Steam group


How many slots can run on my (epic?) machine?

I have a huge server. has 4 GB ram. a 2.6 GHZ processor overclocked to 3.02. 4GB ram. at 1066 MHz. supercooled with a 4 inch High velocity fan mounted to case and ducted outside. a 1GB graphics card. and currently running windows. It is a garrysmod sandbox server. and I want to know if it would be better running under linux. or under windows. If you want to contact me on steam for more details to answer my question faster. What type of processor is it? How manny cores? And the GFX card is of no good to you.

oh. its a athlon x64 dual core. like I said. overclocked to 3.02

AMD Athlon x2 Dual Core 3.02GHz. I think Big Grin

I got a 2.3GHz of that and I can hold 24slots 66tick(50000rate) with about 70% cpu usage on each core.

Yeah but is the OP using a X2 7850, a X2 250, a X2 245, a 3000+, etc. Etc.
