Okey that was the performance part, so lets get to the problem now.
Im running my server on a linux with the internal ip "10.0.0.10" and im playing on my computer on "10.0.0.1".
The problem comes when i try to get rcon access to my server.
I have connected to my server through my external ip but still get the error: "Unable to connect to remote server 88.89.6.222:27015".

I have looked at other threads with the same problem on several websides but none of their sollutions works for me.
Quote:I have tried putting "ip 88.89.6.222" in my server.cfg.

I have tried putting "rcon_address" in my server.cfg.

I have tried putting this in my startup command:
Code:
+ip 88.89.6.222 -port 27015

I have tried
Code:
[b]-[/b]ip 88.89.6.222 -port 27015

I have tried
Code:
-ip no1a.no-ip.org -port 27015

I have tried
Code:
-ip [b]"[/b]no1a.no-ip.org[b]"[/b] -port 27015

I have tried putting this in it:
Code:
-rcon_password "********"

And EVERY combination of these, but nothing works.

By the way: I get this weird problem that no one else gets when im adding -ip or +ip to my startup command: "Couldn't allocate dedicated server UDP port". And i still get this if i add "-port 27015".

Can someone please help me getting rid of these problem.
If you need any more information just let me know.

If you use the +ip argument in your startupline, it should be your internal ip-address!

Also, it has never been recommended to join a LAN server with the external IP-address, use the internal instead!

Okey i will try this.
But if i use the +ip argument with internal ip, can i then connect to rcon through internett?

yes, you cannot bind your server to an IP that's not on the system. That's why you forward the ports on the router. Basically your forwarding the port on your external IP to the port on the internal IP.
