L4D2 DEMO server

how do i update and install a l4d2 demo server? and how do i run it (what are the commands , i am already opening tf2 servers..)

and can i prepare a l4d2 server (download the srver files) before it gets out "live"? if i can what will be the commands for it?

Enter the following command into an update.bat file.

HldsUpdateTool.exe -command update -game left4dead2_demo -dir "." -remember_password -verify_all

To update the game, delete the clientregistry.blob file and the InstallRecord.blob file.

As for the L4D2 server files. You can only get the demo files currently, the full game files won't be released till the official release date. If we're lucky maybe 12-24hours prior to release.
