Question
Hey everybody,

i made a server yesterday..
it said it's connected to the server and it gives me my public ip....
i can connect to it using my other computers in my network..(at home)
but everyone outside of my network can't connect
the server isn't showing up in the lan and sv_lan is set to 0 isn't the problem

basic information:

BASIC INFO
Server OS: Windows 8.1 64bit
Processor: core i5 4200m, dual core, clock speed: 2.5 GHZ, hyperthreaded up to 4 cores.
Ram: 12Gb 1600MHz
Game(s): Team Fortress 2
Start Up Command: start C:\tf2-server\tf2\srcds.exe -console -game tf +sv_pure 0 +map crystalgoddamkindom_b4 +maxplayers 24
Admin Mods: metamod and sourcemod

everything else works on the server, but i wish i only knew on how i could people could connect to my server!

port forwarding:

everybody i found out what the problem is: my router doesn't allow me to port forward (even when i set it in the port forward) the router's firewall is set to high and it can't be changed, i contacted the company behind it and they said that it's a common problem which happens a lot.

my only solution was to download a program called tunngle and make the server sv_lan 1, basicly what this does is that it patches all lan servers to the tunngle network so that everybody who uses tunngle will be able to go on the server...

i couldn't find antother way, and the only solution is to be on the lookout for something that fixes it

Thanks for the help @gergy008
but port forwarding is not an option on my server
i might come back if i do find another fix for this, but for now i can set this thread to closed!
