TF2 Server Start Error - Can't locate g_Telemetry
#1
Getting an error every time I try to run my TF2 server

Quote:The procedure entry point g_Telemetry could not be located in the dynamic link library c:\srcds\orangebox\bin\server.dll.

I click OK on this box and the window closes
Weird, because CS:S and Garrysmod servers work fine, as well as CS:GO (even though it uses SteamCMD who knows, might be relevant)
Tried updating the install again, as well as just deleting it and downloading it again, with no luck.
I've also tested it on my slower box running Windows Server 2008 and got a similar error, although it said tier0.dll instead of server.dll.
Would appreciate any info about how to fix this

I guess I should update this
I "fixed" the problem by deleting my whole srcds folder, including HLDSUpdateTool, and starting from scratch
It's a pain but I needed it fixed quick and that just worked for me
If you want to save download time you can move other SRCDS assets like the CSS folder elsewhere temporarily, then back once you've reinstalled HLDSUpdateTool, just to make things faster so you don't have to redownload things that aren't broken

just so u know dinokoloko u misspelled that so it wont work. In addition, if the server starts up but has a problem loading up a file it is not the start command at fault.
