Cant Connect To Own Server
#1
Okay so I am hosting a server on my laptop. When srcds runs there is no errors and the map name/ping etc and the top is green. The ports are forwarded and everything is ok. When I get into css (on my desktop) I cant join the server via LAN and my friends cant find it either. If I do the ip connect via console it says connection failed after 4 tries. I dont understand what is going on here everything is double checked and it seems as though it should run smoothly. Is it because the two computers are on the same network? I am new to this so please excuse my noobity. Please help!

Can you post a screenshot of your port forwarding or list what ports you forwarded? This is just to see or ensure everything is correct and try to narrow down possible solutions to the problem.
