CS: Source Server LAGG?
#1
hi, first time posting on these forums

I am running a CS:Source Server in New Zealand called SourceNZ, 24/7 running scoutzknivez map.

What im finding is "I" lagg, and the server is on the LAN for me, but on a seperate computer, its running on a dedicated server running server 2008 and my ping is only 5. ive set the process priority to REALTIME for "srcds.exe"

Also, other users pings are around 70/80/90 but when on another server hosted in nz called UltimateGamers scoutzknivez, pings are below 15.

this is my startup command line

C:\srcds\orangebox\srcds.exe -console -game "cstrike" -tickrate "33" +ip "192.168.2.10" -port "27015" -maxplayers "16" - debug +map "scoutzknivez"

thanks for any help in advance!!

Your upload speed is far to little to host any decent server unfortunatly.

Yeah mate, talk to your ISP, or check the plans that they offer. It will most likely cost more.

In the US, up is much more expensive then down. Even if you pay for a good package with 50 up, it's likely to see less then 10 down.

Please do not PM me for server related help
