Another person trying to setup a server for the first time

hmm.. so your checking the server from outside you lan? what is your ip, i will see if it shows up for me. if it says connection to steam servers is successful, then it should work. are you sure your searching the right ip? because you will have a lan ip, and then an external ip, the ip people have to connect to outside your lan is the externail ip, and you being inside the lan have to connect to the lan ip, go to http://www.whatsmyip.org and get your ip, it will be big accross the top, and post it here, followd by your port, and i will test it to see if it works.
