I was browsing newegg and this caught my EYE, its a Gamer NIC and pretty impressive, but its $280 and I don't think its work it.
Its pretty much linux on a card, it has a 400MHz CPU and 64MB DDR ram.
Because it by passes the windows stack you gain a nice FPS increase. You can also use it to run applications such as ventrilo on the card, again not touching your CPU
