From my googling I've found two admin mods.. mani admin and sourcemod.. I was wondering if these made your server lag more if at all, and if they do, which one is more efficient? Which admin mod is the best?
I only want basic functionality, so I don't need a lot of the extra 'fluff'.
If you want a smooth server is it better to just go oldschool and use rcon?

If you want basic stuff, use SourceMod.

i use EDAdmin which is based on eventscripts, it's made for war servers, so it doesn't have the slap/slay stuff like mani, but it will kick/ban/swap teams/move to spec. As well as load configs etc.

You really don't need those fuck around commands anyways... Unless you're going to try to sell admin to a kid whose just going to slap himself to the top of the map or something retarded.
