CS: Source crashes on map change
I have a Fedora FC3 Linux CS: Source server set up, with map changes happening every 1/2 hour. However, when the server tries to change level, it just keeps on writing "Level Change: mapname" over and over again, instead of actually doing anything. For the players, the server just freezes.

I've also tried changing map via "map mapname" and "changelevel mapname", both of which fail, claiming 'Unable to change level'. I've checked the map directory, and the filenames match exactly to what I'm putting in the terminal (without the .bsp extension). All of the folders allow access. I can also start the server using any map, it's only changelevel and map that break it. Does anyone have any ideas?
I am having the same problem with Fedorea core 3. Runs fine until map change time the poof!

here is my server config if there are questions about that:

I am running on a 2.8 gig AMD 512 meg of ram on a SATA 80 gig.

I have a mail server and 4 web pages on this machine.. No big deal and runs like a clock!

Any ideas??

Are we the only two that have seen this?

change deathmatch 0 to deathmatch 1 or delete the deathmatch 0 from your server.cfg

that should fix it

Damn this one took me forever - I got the same hang with repeating "CHANGE LEVEL" lines in console
Mine repeated "CHANGE LEVEL: //de_mapname"

Turns out that "//" is not a valid comment marker for mapcycle.txt like it is in server.cfg. In the hlds days you could comment mapcycle.txt with "//", but not in srcds. Just delete the "//" lines you've commented out.

THANK YOU. I really did not want to go through my server.cfg and figure out what was causing this. Now for the first time in about a year I have my CSS server back up and running (I had customized scripts for starting it, automatically restarting if the Source engine failed, etc. that broke with the update). I removed "coop" from my server.cfg as well, didn't want to risk anything else happening.

Also, never put sv_skyname in your server.cfg, removed my skybox.
