BT Router Settings
Sad hi everyone, myserver is stuck on lan and valve asked me to set up port forwarding, so.....

i wanted to know what settings i put in the following fields of my router (bt voyager 2091) port forwarding config to allow me to use the stand-alone source dedicated server on the internet. Any options are in CAPS

application name: ?
from internet host IP Address: ALL/SINGLE/SUBNET ?
forward to internal host IP Address: ?

By using the rules
Protocol: TCP, UDP or TCP/UDP ?
External Packet, port start and port end: ?
Forward to Internal Host, port start and port end: ?

can anyone help with this? im sure someone has set up a similar router

Your ip is the LAN ip of the scrds server, you can find this in ipconfig. example:
Ethernet adapter Wireless Network Connection 2:

Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . :
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . :
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . :

ok, to fix this problem you need to go into tour router options should acess them with in internet search bar.
find either thwe words De-Militarized Zone or the abreviation DMZ.
once u find the DMZ part, make the ip of ur server within the house in the DMZ by changing the ip to the ip of ur server
if you dont know ur servers ip, go onto ur server and open commabd prompt and type in ipconfig and press enter and then it will jhave ur servers ip address, should be 192.168.1.X the Xbeing a 1, 2, or 3 digit number
