Voice chat becomes garbled when map changes [RESOLVED]
I've almost got everything working except for a problem with sound. Everytime the CS server map changes the voice chat becomes garbled.

Dedicated Dell PowerEdge 1900, x2 Quad-core Xeon processors, 8 GB RAM, running Counter Strike with Mani Admin (1.2s) and Metamod (1.7.1). Startup is: E:\srcds\srcds.exe -console -game cstrike -tickrate 100 -ip -port 27015 -maxplayers 32 +map de_dust2. There is only one map on this server... de_dust2. Both the gameinfo.txt and the mapcycle.txt have been edited to conatin only de_dust2.

exec mani_quake_sounds.cfg
sv_alltalk 1
sv_footsteps 1
sv_voiceenable 1
//voice_overdrive 5
sv_voicecodec vaudio_miles

I have tried to change the sound dll file to vaudio_speex, and added voice_overdrive 5, but that causes sound problems almost immediately and the server becomes unplayable.

exec mani_quake_sounds.cfg (should I have this twice?)
mani_mapcycle_mode 0

The mani_quake_sounds.cfg file is v1.2 Beta Q and has not been changed from the default.

Any suggestions?

Try to not set a sv_voicecodec value.

Just remove it and try again.

the voice codec is the problem like realchamp said jsut remove it, restart your server and you should be fine after that

That fixed it! Thanks for the advise.
dont forget to change your topic title to solved / resolved ;0)
I had a similar problem in my server but I realized that the voice codec was set to vaudio_miles which is the old codec. I changed it to vaudio_speex and it worked like a charm.
