Hey, I need help again ... my server works quite good now, however I noticed that many people get timed out after a period of time. This surely isn't normal, as that doesn't happen so often on other servers. If I'm not mistaken, people with lower rates usually get timed out. This also happens while playing a war, and suddenly someone just gets timed out, and after 5 minutes another one times out. That didn't happen to me on this server yet tho. So what can be the cause of this? Thanks ..
Oh, and the hitboxes are completely messed up (even more than on other servers). Does that have something to do with rate settings? What should I set commands like cl_interp to?

What kind of connection does your dedi have? im guessing some kind of home connection or maybe even dsl. Most important part of the connection is having good upload speeds if you have 768kbps upload on your dsl then your bound to run into issues specially with rates.

Unless your servers tickrate and fps are all over that wont help. Have you run a traceroute? Also check your rates settings and what does the server run like? tickrate holds steady cpu usage? and memory usage?

ahh i see. I would say your min and maxrates are far to high for the average client and will produce alot of lag with slower clients as well as timeouts as there connection can't handle those settings. I would reduce your rate setiings to 20000 min and 35000 max and from the looks of your fps drops I would try recompiling also and producing a stable fps as thats most important.
