Weird error

The IP is:
79.114.167.**
BUT
When i make a server the IP gets:
169.254.243.***:27015
Any clue how to change to my
79.114.167.** IP?
Plz?

This is your LAN IP(Internal IP). You will always have your server in LAN with this IP.
And with that said, you'll need to do portforwarding

Ive alerady did PortFowarding in 1999 when i started a [game website, i don't wanna advertise so i just wrote this] server. That request port foward too.
Any other idea?
But.. if then.. why on ip getter websites gets 79.114.167.** instead of my online IP?
Any clue? My friend still can't connect...

Disable firewalls, try DMZ. And you could look at this FAQ guide by Spartanfrog: http://forums.srcds.com/viewtopic/7124

Please double check your ports and so on.

1.DMZ? What DMZ stands for? And what it means?
2.I unblocked srcds.exe and disabled firewalls, but nothing...
3.Checked them already. Thei'r ok.

1. DMZ allows all data pass through, if it's set to the specified IP.(With would be your LAN IP and it must be static).

2. Do you have multiple routers?

3. Can you post a screenshot of your portforward page? You can just edit out the detail with IP(I see you don't wanna share them).

1. It's not that difficult. You just have to set your static IP into it, and then just enable it.

3. When you log into your router, and set the portforwarding to a specified IP. Can you take a screenshot of that page? And then post it here.

Sorry for big size, just watch the green boxes. It might be identical with your own router.

Notice, make sure you have a firewall, otherwise you might be bombardet by vira.

im unsure if its a router of not.. Its a white box with no lights xD That makes me connection...

Doesn't matter if it's wireless or with cable, the only different is the performance!

Do you then have a "modem" which you got from your ISP?(Internet (Service) Provider).

There's some ports in there too, which there are in mine. If so, use this IP to connect to the CPlanel. http://10.0.0.1:2033
You've properly got an username and password from your provider, check up on that .
