Problems Installing L4D Dedicated Server

I'm having a big problem trying to install L4D dedicated server when I type in the hldsupdatetool command I get this

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Desktop\hlserver>HldsUpdateTool.exe -com

Updating Installation
Cannot open blob archive file: CMultiFieldBlob(mem-mapped file): File does not e
xist and failed to create new file

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Desktop\hlserver>
I've tried deleting the blob file and changing directory's but it didn't do anything and google hasn't been much help
Any suggestions?

I had the same problem I forgot what I was doing wrong though, i'll check and see if I could help out with anything..

Make the dir before installing to that dir.
re-try a few times... like 5 or 6...

The problem is what mooga suggested - you need to create the install dir first...
