Steam stuck at downloading files?

So, I decided to set up a CS:S server on my bro's Linux server, everything went fine and it started downloading. Now it's stuck at this line, and has been for like 15 minutes already:

Any ideas? The Linux distro on the server is Debian.

Nope, it says something like -bash no such file or directory...

I'm re-downloading everything right now, hope it'll finish downloading this time.

::EDIT:: The download's going *extremely* slow right now, roughly 1% per 10 minutes or so... It's a 1Gbps box with no other uploads/downloads going on at the moment, so what's wrong? :O

Still going extremely slow... Is it usually this slow when installing a SRCDS on Linux? What's up with Steam? :<

Who's your ISP? Also sometimes downloading from steam just sucks.

I've been experiencing extremely slow install on my Linux (Ubuntu) server as well.

I'm on a 100Mbit line and everything else downloads at that speed. The odd thing is when I kick off the hlupdatetool on my windows machine is flies down.

This is very odd and very annoying, just left my Linux box updating for 4 hours to see it only got to 1.23%.

I've decided I'll just download onto my Windows box and FTP to the Linux one.

Derelict what distro are you using? I never had problems with downloading with ubuntu.
