If you nmap your server, what should show up?
I am having a problem where I can see my system on the network (its setup with LAN 0 flag), and everything SEEMS like its okay. However, if I connect to a neighboring network (wirelessly), I can't connect to the server.
When I run nmap, only 27015 shows up as OPEN. All the other ports (1200, 27000-27039, except for 27015) are filtered.
Is this normal?
I am wondering if my ISP is preventing the server from responding. I know I have all the ports forwarded. The same issue is happening with Ventrillo, no one can connect even though I know things are forwarded.
The weird thing is that the server ran great for a few weeks. People were in and out and it was getting more popular. It would fill in the evenings and such. After a few weeks (and I think an IP change), I forwarded the ports to the servers' new IP and let it sit. I noticed no one was entering the server. It looks like no one can connect. Wtf.
Anyone help a brother out?

Yes, that is perfectly normal. It is a very common misunderstanding that all of the other ports needs to be forwarded. I run my server with only port 27015 forwarded in my router, and it works perfectly.
The other ports only come into play, if you have a firewall that blocks outgoing connections. Then you need to allow all of the mentioned ports through the firewall.

Alright, I will run some tests and disable the firewall and see if that works. Then, if I see that it works w/o the firewall, I will look to make sure my settings are alright. Thanks man
EDIT:
1) I tried disabling the server's firewall, no luck.
2) I tried using the "Application Rules" of my router to trigger on outgoing data from 27000-27039, 1200. No luck
3) I put the server on a DMZ to see if it had ANYTHING to do with the router, no luck.
EDIT2:
If I disable the firewall AND put the server on the DMZ, it works from my other network (connected to a different IP and everything to the internet). Obviously, I can no longer see the server when I am connected to the network it is on if I have it on the DMZ (because it separates all connections between the server and items on the "true" network).
This is WAYYYY too dangerous though, and I just dont know what the heck is going on....I will have to investigate more later.
I would REALLY appreciate some ideas. I am using the standard windows firewall, Server 2003 x64, and a crappy D-LINK router...

Alright, sry for double post but I didn't want to do an EDIT3
I dont know what went wrong with (1) in my previous post, but later I disabled the firewall of windows on the server, connected to another network, and it ran fine.
Then, I checked the firewall settings. I had srcds.exe (the actual path to the file that I run with my batch script) setup as an exception.
What I did then was forward 27015 manually (both TCP and UDP), and 27005 manually (both TCP and UDP). So now I have five rules that allow srcds through.
I would appreciate if someone would try to connect to my server themselves and let me know if it works.

The server is alive and kicking. I could join it without any problems. The ping was rather high, but as I am in Europe, this is no big surprise. The connection looked stable. No packet loss and no server choke.
However, you really should configure the server properly. Currently it has win limit set to 3, meaning that playing eg Steel, you can only cap points A, B and C, and then the server abruptly changes map. The same problem is probably present in Dustbowl and all payload maps.

Thanks a lot!
Thats a good point, and I will be sure to change that config. Should the win condition be 5 or 4? (EDIT: I changed it to 6)
EDIT:
There are a few other quirks I have noticed.
1) now any time anyone dies on a custom map, they lose connection with the server (the server doesnt crash...but they just lose connection)
2) I can't play any mani sounds. I have fast download enabled, but it aparently isn't working. The fast download keeps the same directory structure and everything, but it says in the console that it cant find the right sounds...
