We advise against running a SRCDS on a VM because people report to have had clocking issuing with the Virtual CPU.

You will get very odd lag spikes doing so, I rented from a company that did this sold me it as a "dedicated server" Find out after two months of hell lag spikes that my "dedicated server" Was running Vmware

ouch. well we sell dedicated physical servers, and dedicated virtual servers. reason i would call an esx server dedicated is because it dedicates ram and cpu etc.... anyhow i'm ognna jsut use a dedicated physical box to test out game servers on.
