A way to log CPU usage?

I was wondering if there was a way to log CPU usage?

If that helps. ;P Obviously I am not very savvy with linux.

I have been noticing some random hiccuping with our servers though, and am trying to figure out what's causing it.

See [Monitoring] Server statistics (FPS, Traffic, Players, Uptime) with Munin at the Tutorial category. The system monitors CPU too (hmm.. why isn't it in the title, I'll have to fix it).

The big con of this system is that it uses Munin for monitoring. The accuracy of Munin is 5 minutes. The srcds plugin, however, tries to compensate the loss of accuracy by taking multiple samples.
