I have the same problem but I think I know the solution

1.Has it worked before?
1.Are you running vista?
2.Is your routers firmware updated?
3.Have you given people your internet IP and not your local IP?
4.Is the router your hooked to have the internet hooked into it and not another router(ex. wireless router hooked to wierd router hooked to internet)
5.Did the steam version of srcds work?
6.Is your router blocking anonimous internet requests?
7.Have you tried DMZ?

1.Some mods may hinder youor server and must be removed if they dont work or some settings may also halt the server

2.I'm running vista and I think that thats the main problem but it may be something else

3.Haveing your router updated with the latest patch can affect your networking

4.Giving people your local IP (192.168.1.102) will not allow them to join you need to go to a website to confirm your internet IP, just google my ip and click any website

5.Have a complex network of routers in your house will make your internet traffic difficult and may be halting or weighing down your server

6.If the steam version worked then obviously you have followed the instructions wrong for your current server and my follow them again (its happened to me)

7.Some routers do this and have an option to disable this

8.The DMZ setting in your router will open all your ports and if this fails then its probably not your router

If you have done all this and are running XP and it still does not work then this might just be a common flaw with srcds kinda like the red rings on the 360

forwarding the same port twice for the same packet type cuases issues (every occurence ive seen)

so try and delete your forwarding and just do the necessary

UDP 27000 / 27030
TCP 27000 / 27030
UDP 1200 / 1200

if this doesnt help, lets see your startup line and the output of your server at startup

tryed that doesnt seem to have made it work.

i hear there way to open your pc using dmz?

how does this work, my router has a setting for this i clicked it
it asked for my last part of local ip address so i did
cmd ipconfig found the ip address
192.168.0.100
i add this to dmz and click enable.
but this didnt make any change

Does your server have a static IP address?
