I am installing the Linux server on my comp later today, any of you have any words of wisdom i should look out for when installing this and how to make it run nice?

it all depends on how much you already know about linux. if you're new, i suggest mandrake or fedora core. I would also suggest Gentoo. Gentoo would be more advanced.. but the site (gentoo.org) has a nice install guide that'll help a linux newb learn linux while installing.
