having my shortcut to .exe run the srcds.bat?

how can i make a shortcut tooken off of my srcds.exe make it run the srcds.bat also? I tried making a shortcut off the bat and when my friend was installing it he said the shortcut bat would not work on his comp. is there a way in my srcds.exe shorcut in the target line i can have it run like?

target= "C:\srcds\srcds.exe" run "C:\srcds\srcds.bat"
or how would i do it?
