NEW Maps and Dedicated Server (Steam) ?

hi all,

I need help.

i have downloaded 5 new maps. I copy it to the ded.server maps folder and the maps works fine.

my problem is i want to play the new maps with players who come on my dedica. server.

the players have to download the new map from me but it doesnt work.

Error Message (Steam Console)

Dropped ..Playerl from server
Reason: Disconnect by user.

I read in these forum about sv_allowdownload "1" and and in the server cfg. but i already have it in my server.cfg

I dont understand it why it doesnt work.

Thats my server.cfg

Example i have only one file (Map ) name: tk_riverside.bsp

now how i do it that it would be able to download for all players

I also read about .res files but i dont know how to create, can anybody say me how on example tk_riverside.bsp (dont forget its only 1 file )

often people will hit cancel rather than wait for a server to give them the map. The server will only send the map to them at about 5kbps or something painful I think its set by sv_maxrate.

You have two options,
1. get sv_downloadurl working. I think it works for CSS so its just a case of find out how - theres a big thread on steampowered forums
2. put the maps in zipped files and link to the files in the motd, when people connect to the server and see the message of the day they have the option of downloading the maps nice and quickly.
