Hey ive tried to set up a tf2 server with srcds but i cant get it online. ive asked friends to join me and they cant.
This is my command line
-console -game tf -tickrate 33 -ip 192.168.1.136 -port 27015 -maxplayers 24 +map cp_orange_cross2_v2
These are the ports ive got forwarded
UDP 27000 - 27015
UDP 27020 - 27020
UDP 1200 - 1200
TCP 27030 - 27039
TCP 27015 - 27015
Any help would be appreciated

Have you set port forwarding through your router?
Are your friends connecting thvia your external IP address?

I have forwarded my ports through my router but im not sure what ip i should give to friends. they have tried to join me through steam friends and have failed

i have the server on my desktop pc and if i join it on my laptop and ask friends to join, it says its not responding

Well if you play on your server when your in the network, it will always look Not Responding in the friends list. Just tell them to type in console Connect (IP from whatismyip.com).

i gave my external ip to a friend and he added it to his favourites but he cant connect to it. it says not responding. if he trys and connect thru the console he gets the connection failed after four retrys thing

Try dmzing your server then.

Your router should have a DMZ option.
Point the DMZ at your server.

apparently my speedtouch 585 dont have dmz but it has some sort of spoofing thing
