TF2 and SourceTV
#1
I need to setup source TV to run on my tournament servers (I run a LAN) and it seems that soemtime after the last big update, the server name is now the same as the sourcetv name (tv_name) What can i do to fix this?

So far i have made a seperate config file to be loaded after the main config. Set the title in the command line (the shortcut to launch the server) after the server name.

I am open to any ideas, we just want this to work since we broadcast on a projection wall and can't jsut use the normal spec mode because it doesn't have a Delay and i can't record Demos without it.

Thnx in advance.

I've had the same problem with HLTV on LAN.
For some reason the game shows up ad the HLTV name.
So I finally changed the HLTV name back to the name of the server. I just keep the HLTV locked under a password.

Yeah, thats exactly whats happening. I know if I do this, I'm going to have a bunch of people connect and wonder why there is a password on the server, not realizing the other server right above/below it... Thats the kind of people I deal with...

I wonder if this is just a localized issue, or something valve might actually fix. Well, I have a LAN coming up on the 8-9 of March, so if there isn't any fixes by then, I'll just use your suggestion.

Thnx

I should probably file a bug report for that....
