Killing myself makes the server crash??
#1
Well I just setup a TF2 server. Everything working great.

But... just tried loading it up with the map cp_skyscraper3 and as soon as I kill myself, srcds.exe crashes and connection to the server is lost.

Anyone know what gives?

Anyone got a solution to this one?

I'm getting the same problem, everything works fine on default maps, but I load up a custom and the first time someone suicides, the srcds crashes.

Please do not PM me for server related help

Its probably a corrupt custom map.

I'm getting some strange behaviour,

Some maps were fixed by downloading a new copy - or going to a server with a working version and using that one, some were not.

I suspect you're right and it's a dodgy custom map thing.

Custom maps are a pain. Like they arnt compiled correctly, they get corrupted, etc

OK, quick update for anyone else who gets this problem.

Try it with more than one person on the server!

I found that if I logged into the server myself (local network), and suicided, it crashed.

With a stack of us on there, no problems!
