Wrong port (62913 changes) in steam-list I want 27015
#1
I get wrong port in steam server list (I want 27015)... I get listed in the server list as: 83.227.19.20:62913 and the port changes every time I restart the server.

I want to have 27015 like all the other servers because they can be added to favourites without having to specify the port (I have the two dns kajal.dyndns.org and kajal.se pointing to my IP)

note: the server seems to work fine because I can connect to it and play (allthough I find that a bit strange because I don't have the port 62913 forwarded to my computer)

TCP ports forwarded to my dedicated server 27015 and 80
UDP ports forwarded to my dedicated server 27015-27020

command line I'm using right now:
"C:\Program Files\Valve\HLServer\srcds.exe" -console -port 27015 -game cstrike -autoupdate +maxplayers 16 +map cs_italy +hostport 27015 +clientport 27015

... I have also tried:
"C:\Program Files\Valve\HLServer\srcds.exe" -console -port 27015 -game cstrike -autoupdate +maxplayers 16 +map cs_italy +hostport 27015 +clientport 27015

... I have also tried:
"C:\Program Files\Valve\HLServer\srcds.exe" -console -game cstrike -autoupdate +maxplayers 16 +map cs_italy

I haven't done much to the server except running HldsUpdateTool.exe to get the files for "Counter-Strike Source" and then adding a server.cfg available here http://www.kajal.se/server.cfg.txt

Well you shouldnt have any ports with + infront, always -. Trying just using -port 27015 and not using hostport or clientport

Exactly what happened to me here is the response by Drocona:
"Your Router isn't configured correctly"

Thanks Spartanfrog!

now it doesn't work again... I wanted to change the hostname and the motd so I restarted the server and port is now 60013

I'm using (same one as worked once):
"C:\Program Files\Valve\HLServer\srcds.exe" -console -port 27015 -game cstrike -autoupdate +maxplayers 16 +map cs_italy

I hate that too short thing lol. Anyway this may not be the problem but you are using windows right? Autoupdate doesnt work on windows so get rid of that.

I guess you could try DMZing your server.

Yeah, but there is a reason why people use firewalls... The application shouldn't even care if it's behind one. You think it's my routers fault?

edit: tried that... still port 60013

Yeah probably is. What is your router?

It's a dlink, dl-624+ (I'm using a cable to the server not wireless). I also have an "access point" with IP-telephony-thingy before that (that my ISP forces me to have if I want my IP-telephony to work).

Change the dlink router, thats the problem.

seems like that's the case, without the router it works

...with the router, even though I put my server in dmz I get that wrong port.

Yeah there was another person who had the same exact problem with a Dlink router and he just switched it to a Netgear router.
