From what the FIOS tech was telling me the other day Time Warner in my area is using 80% of its bandwidth on there phone service, 10% on internet service and only leaving 10% for extra. People in my area are having alot of problems during peak hours like when everyone gets off of work and school.
I thought all or if not most all ISP don't allow servers on there network, I found this out the hard way a year ago with time warner when one day I came home and my server couldnt be seen off my home network anymore. Called them they told me they suspected a server being used and that all the ports were blocked on there end which were being used, and they told me it was due to a large use of bandwidth which they suspescted to be a server. I guess you can just hope they dont find out but if it gets popular they will.
Verizon will do the same to there costumers also, DSL, or FIOS, thats what the tech told me. So enjoy it well you can .
