I'm getting a strange "broken pipe" error on my srcds server. It's not the usual error because of run-permissions on gzip.
I am running the CS:S server on linux on a home PC behind a standard router.
Outsiders can connect to the server just fine, but when I try to connect via another PC behind the same router, the CS:S server crashes and restarts. I get the following error:
Client "AoS.DFA" connected (192.168.1.1:27005).
./srcds_run: line 426: 2007 Broken pipe $HL_CMD
cat: hlds.1690.pid: No such file or directory
email debug.log to linux@valvesoftware.com
Sun Nov 18 23:01:29 EST 2007: Server restart in 10 seconds
The debug log doesn't contain anything, just a record of the server crashing.
Any idea why this would happen? The router's correctly sending all the steam ports to the linux box. There's no conflict between the client PC and the srcds server's IP addresses.
Thanks,
