Trying to update css
#1
When I run the update command:
./steam -command update -game "Counter-Strike Source" -dir . -username xxx -password xxx -remember_password
I get this reply:
Failed to create directory /usr/games/.steam

I also ran this command, even though I don't know what it means:
rm -rf ~/.steam

What am I doing wrong?

What are the rights of /usr/games, who's the owner of that directory and under which user are you running the command.
I think you doesn't have rights to write in the directory /usr/games.
Normaly root is owner of it.

The rm-command means remove (rm) the directory .steam in the homedir (~/) of the current user, with everything in in ® and don't ask just do it (f)
